Hi. I am a single mother of a beautiful 9 year old girl.
I have just left a job after 4 years in a day nursery working as a room leader/key worker for children 0-5 years old. For the last 2 years I worked in the Tweenies room so my responsibilities were risk assessments, weekly planning, learning journals, developmental trackers, transition/transfer documents, written/verbal daily reports, working in partnership with parents, internal/external agencies, safeguarding, health&safety, potty training, nappy changing, preparing and serving snack/lunch, translating, cleaning toys every month, ongoing training programmes, working as part of a team, interaction/attachment with children and much much more.
I am a qualified Early Years practitioner and have an Early Years Childhood Studies level 4 qualification as well as a level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce, Level 3 First Aid and many more qualifications and training I have attended which I have certificates for.
I am currently finishing my BA HONS. Degree at university and have a year and a half left.
I have also done voluntary work for Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Fire Service and Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid.
I have been in the Education sector since 2003 so I have plenty of professional and personal experience but I am still willing to learn more knowledge/skills as we learn every day.
