Amy, after-school childcare in Bath BA1

My name is Amy and I am 21 years old. I am from Northern Ireland and I am currently a second year student at bath spa university. For the past 3 summers I have worked at a summer camp in Vermont, USA as a camp counsellor, swimming teacher and lifeguard at an all girls camp. The girls are between 6 and 12 years old and I had a tent family of three girls who I lived with and took care of for 7 weeks. At camp I was also the evening activity coordinator so I was responsible for organising a fun activity every evening for over 200 people. These activities included all camp Olympics, quiz nights, singing and dancing nights, all camp games and a number of other activities. We never did the same activity twice! I plan to return to camp while I am still in university as living in and spending time in such a great community is such a wonderful experience. I am a qualified swimming teacher and have also taught swimming lessons at home as well as teaching my younger cousins to swim. I babysit children of all ages regularly for family and friends. I also volunteered as a leader at a girls youth club and worked with girls of all ages. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports and competed in a number of sports growing up. I swam competitively for 8 years and also swam for my county. I look forward to hearing from you!
