Maria, after-school childcare in Brighton

Hola!! My name is Maria and I come from Seville, Spain. When I was 14 I moved to Germany and attended an International School where I was taught in both German and English. I graduated in 2012. I speak 3 different languages and my biggest passion is working with children. Currently I am studying Primary English Education at Brighton University and I love it!!! Most rewarding job ever!!

I have been babysitting since I am 16 and have worked with children since then. At 16 I started working as a "mentor" for new children at the school and babysitting at the evening and weekends. I babysat for so many International families and have been very involved working with children that they asked me to work as a sports coach during the school summer camp in both 2014 and 2015. I also took care of a boy with disabilities when I was 18.
In 2014 I started studying Primary English Education at Brighton University. I have experience working in a classroom as I have been doing placements in a primary school during University.
I also did many fundraisings for an orphanage known as The Nest, located in Kenya.

My subject specialism is English but I am from Spain, so I am more than happy to offer Spanish tutoring or help with homework for your children!

I can provide references from families and from the extracurricular coordinator of Bonn International school if necessary. I also have a DBS check.

Currently I am doing an internship at Fairlight Primary School in Brighton. Working with a lovely Year 2 class :)))
