My name is Morgan, I have over 10 years experience of devising and leading creative learning programs for children and young people for schools, colleges, universities, private birthday parties, play groups, community groups and art galleries and museums in the U.K and abroad.

I have recently moved to Bristol (I teach A Level Textiles at Weston College 3 days per week), I am DBS cleared, I have a Level 3 Play-Work NVQ and a PGCE (with QTS) and I am looking for tutoring/childminding and childcare work during evenings, weekends and holidays.

I have extensive experience of working with children age 5-13 gained from running creative learning programs for primary and secondary schools in London, Teaching Art in India, private tutoring in Slovenia, tutoring a young Indian boy to speak and read English in London, running programs for galleries (e.g Cubitt) and from teaching in colleges in London. I have also gained a lot of experience of working with children from refugee backgrounds (I set up and ran a creative arts centre in a refugee camp in Greece over the winter).

I have also worked with children and young people with Autism (through the National Autistic Society) and I have worked with children in care, adopted children, young men and women in gangs and children and young people with a range of mental health and emotional, behavioural difficulties.

I started off as a 14 year old babysitting for my neighbours and word got around that the new babysitter did all kinds of fun things like make cookies, face-paint, run Batik and T-Shirt printing sessions and ran around like a lunatic pretending to be monsters and Gorillas and whatever else the games involved!

I can also run children's parties and large events and I have undertaken large scale mural commissions with children in schools in the U.K and in Ghana, Africa (which may also come in handy!).

I am highly organised, friendly and have an excellent ability to multi-task. I have a great sense of humour and I easily become a vibrant part of any family. I will be happy to show qualifications and submit references upon request.

If you would like to see examples of the work I do with children then please google Morgan Art education since I cannot post links to other sites here.

I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
