Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to consider me as a potential minder for your child/ren.
A little about me -
- I have worked in childcare since May of 2017, working with children aged 6 months to 5 years. During this time working in a private nursery I have worked in line with government guidelines, such as the Early Years Foundation Stages guidelines - tracking children's development, including planning and carrying out personalised activities. If desired, I can bring this into the care provision of your child/ren, taking the time to get to know them and their interests, planning activities that I think they will enjoy and further their development, and carry these out personally with your child/ren. For children of older ages I can assist with homework, having attained 9 GCSEs with grades of As & Bs and scoring well in my International Baccalaureate Diploma. Aside from the above, I'm more than happy to engage in play activities and other activities desired by yourself or your child/ten
- I'm degree educated; in 2020 I graduated with a first class honours in BSc Health and Wellbeing. Naturally, this has provided me with a wealth of appropriate knowledge in many fields, including psychology, medicine, and epidemiology. Much of my work during this degree was child-focussed, particularly taking focus on paediatric illnesses and special educational needs & disabilities. Extending on the latter, I spent several weeks working with the North Wales Children's Community Nursing team, based in three special educational needs schools. Beginning from October 2020, I will be working 1:1 with a boy with special educational needs, which will further my competence in caring for and working with children with complex needs.
- I have a broad array of hobbies that I can bring into caring for your child/ren, including photography, exploring the outdoors, cycling, board games, and cooking/baking.
There's much more to me than the three points I've mentioned above but hopefully they will give you and quick overview of who I am and what I can offer for you and your family. If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to get in contact
