Shannon, after-school childcare - CH44 Wallasey

Hello, My name is Shannon , I am a 20 year old girl and have always had a love for taking care of children, especially my 2 little sisters who are like my 2 little best friends this included general care, cooking, cleaning, picking them up and taking them to school, my other childcare experiences include working as a Disney Princess for 'childsplay parties' a children's birthday party venue, but unfortunately the venue closed down, this included all types of party games and activities such as dancing, games and giving out prizes, face painting, glitter tattoos singing and performance, this job required a professional standard of understanding between me and the children to make sure everyone was happy and we provided then with the best possible time they could have and everyone left with a smile on their face, that was my favourite part of the job knowing I had helped give children the best birthday they could have. I have a community arts award from highschool, this included planning an afternoon of playground games with a group of primary school children, this required careful planning and an understanding of high energy and cool down activities. I also have a health and social care GCSE, and worked a day in a nursery in a highschool completing my work experience. I consider myself an excellent carer for children and a caring, understanding person and would love to expand my experience.
