Catalina, after-school childcare - CT10 Kingsgate

Hi, I’m Catalina!
I’ve spent the last few years working closely with children in various roles, leading games, settling homesick campers, assisting with schoolwork, and making rainy days enjoyable. As a senior camp counsellor in Malaysia, I was responsible for the care of over 500 children, handling everything from daily routines to emotional support and emergencies. I’ve also worked one-on-one as a tutor, helping students grow in confidence and reach top grades. These experiences taught me how to connect with kids of different ages and personalities, keeping things fun while creating a safe and structured environment. I’m calm under pressure, full of energy, and always ready with a creative activity or a comforting word. Whether it’s helping with homework, keeping to bedtime routines, or simply being someone children can trust, I bring a lot of heart (and organisation!) to every role.
