I am a 17 year old studying A-levels at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, I have always pushed myself to perform at the highest standards in any situation I am faced with. Starting with my education, I managed to achieve 10A* grades and 3As at GCSE level and still develop my knowledge with extra reading and extra-curricular, this is something I would be keen to share with children in a large range of ages.
As well as this I have been a member of a local running club for a number of years which has really improved many skills of mine and allowed for me to develop a large social circle, it has immensely improved my ability to build strong relationships that I could offer in this role. Another hobby of mine is art that I would be happy to enjoy with the children.
I am very passionate about working with children, this means that I am very willing and driven to be the best role model I can be, offering my kindness and compassion at the same time. I have been volunteering my spare time working in classrooms from reception up to year 6, each bringing new experiences to the table. I still regularly visit the children and have been lucky enough to watch them grow and develop skills. I've learnt to utilise my initiative and adapt to each unique personality which has shown to be very useful in regards to working with children.
I also volunteer for the charity CLAPA in which I meet with parents and their children in Birmingham Children's Hospital and offer my support, advice and ways to cope.
I have witnessed many professionals in this field and their different approaches to entertaining, teaching and providing for children which has enabled me to make my own methods adding personal flare.
Occasional babysitting | $7.00 per hour |
I am currently studying at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School working towards a career in the medicine field, I am quite financially independent as I have always had jobs with respected companies such as Marks and Spencers, therefore I would ask for a figure close to the National Living Wage of £7.20 if possible in order to support my studies. I would be more than willing to compromise.
