I have always been considered as an optimistic and reliable individual with a proactive attitude. I am currently studying at The
University of Edinburgh doing English Literature and History (MA) Hons which I am thoroughly enjoying. Learning has always been a
key interest of mines – I am always reading, researching and taking new things in which I feel which improve me as a person. I have done various amounts of volunteer work: I worked in a disability social club once a week for a year helping prepare activities and making sure the adults I was caring for were content and calm in their surroundings. In July 2012, I went to South East Asia for 6 months to do volunteer work and travel with friends. I predominantly worked with elephants and other animals that had been neglected and also travelled around Thailand, Vietnam, Bangkok and many more. In June 2014, I travelled to a remote village in Romania called Berzasca where I worked in a summer school teaching children English as a second language. I had the most wonderful experience and learned a vast amount about their culture and ways of living. I am looking for part-time work to do in between my university schedule so afternoon, evening and weekend positions would be beneficial.
