Helen, after-school childcare - GL4 Birdlip

I began looking after children back in 2003, looking after the children of neighbour's and friends who lived close by.
My babysitting ages run from 4 weeks old to any age. I have done it all, babies, groups of children, groups of teens that just need a reliable eye kept on them, and children who won't go to bed. They do eventually!

Since then, I have worked in schools as a TA, during my time in teacher training, and as a SEN assistant, working with children of all ages and characters from 3-10.
I have worked in nurseries, from having sole charge of babies from 4 months, to children just about to enter school.

I am highly trained, with an NVQ L3 in childcare, paediatric first aid, L2 food handling, safeguarding and hazards training, Gloucestershire Total Communication (positive language and clear speaking, in laymans terms), and working with each child and family as individuals.
