Dear families,

I am an 18 year old girl, who adores working with children and adapting to their needs. I love travelling, learning new languages and reading, as well as socialising with friends and going to the cinema.

My au pair experience in Rome is coming to an end, therefore I will be back in England from mid June and am looking for some casual work, such as babysitting, helping out with children or live out au pairing. I cannot commit to every week during the summer holidays since I will undoubtedly have a holiday with my family for a week or two, however if you want a casual person and I am available, I would love to help!

I am a mature, sensible young adult, who is very responsible and isn't afraid to discipline children, should they require it. I love children and have a bright, sunny personality and would like you to feel that you are leaving your children in safe hands with me.

I have a variety of experience working with children. As I mentioned before, I have just been an au pair in Italy for four beautiful boys. Therefore, I have had to adapt to the needs of each child, for example - communicating with the one year old - singing and talking to him, through playing with toys. With the four year old, I have sat and read books with him, encouraging him to try to read and spell simple words. I have played sports and board games such as monopoly and scrabble with the older boys, as well as cooking with them! I have also helped with their homework extensively. As well as this experience, I also did some work experience in a primary school which involved helping out with class activities and sports. I have also helped my auntie who is a child minder a lot since I am currently on my gap year.
