Sarah, after-school childcare in Hull

Hi there, my name is Sarah and I am interested in taking responsibility for the most precious things in your lives - your children.

I am 48 years of age and have been in Childcare in one form or another for over 30 years. I am fully qualified (NNEB) have current Paediatric First Aid (October, 2015) as well as a BA Hons Degree in Social and Community Studies.

My hobbies include all things crafty, I love getting the paints and glue out and making things, jumping in puddles and playing in the snow - let children be children.

I am a Leader for a local Rainbow and Girl Guide Unit where the children range from 5 years of age to 14. We encourage the girls to develop in their own individual way and become independent young women and I continue with this philosophy with the children I currently work with.

You may be wondering why, if I already have a job, am I searching elsewhere? Well, being the honest person I am, I shall tell you.

When I first began my current employment, it was a fun, family-run nursery with a Breakfast and Out of School Club too. In January 2015 the owner had to sell due to health complications and a large company took over. In my opinion, the ethos of the family-run setting has gone and it doesn't have the same feel any more.
