Lynn, after-school childcare in Abram

My name is Lynn I am a mature person I have 1 son who is now 22 I have always been involved in looking after children from being a teenager babysitting for friends and relatives to the present day where for the last 18 years I have been a short term break foster carer for children and young adults with special needs, my husband retired a year ago and so I gave up fostering so we could spend time together now I feel I am ready to start looking after children again in a part time more informal role. During my time as a fosterer I have had lots of experiences with children and parents from many different backgrounds, I have taken children just for a few hours a day for respite care to overnight stays and emergency longer term care when parents have been admitted to hospital and there are no other relatives etc to help out, I have taken children to numerous activities including swimming, special needs athletics, the duke of Edinburgh award scheme to the park and even shopping to help them get used to money handling. I have no formal qualifications but as you can see I have a vast amount of experience.
