Megan, after-school childcare in Ashington NE63

Hello,

My name is Megan, I am 19 years old and I am currently living with my parents in Ashington. I am bubbly, fun, friendly and caring. Looking after children is something I love doing because I find it very rewarding.

I am happy to babysit, offer part time care in the families home or even full time care for any families that may need it. I have had experience looking after children aged 6 months to 10 years old. I am very happy to look after children aged 0 months to 13 years old.

As regards to my ability to offer childcare I would say I am very caring, patient, understanding, enthusiastic, and responsible. I am also extremely trustworthy and well mannered. I enjoy all aspects of looking after children, whether this be looking after a baby or supporting a child in their development. I enjoy cooking and I would be happy to make meals for any children if the parents requested me to do so. I would also be happy to collect children from school, however I do rely on public transport, so if the school isn't local to the family home (able to walk to and from) then it may not be suitable.

During my level 3 childcare course I did placement work in a childcare setting where I gained experience looking after and supporting children aged 3 to 7 in their education.

My partner's sister has 5 children (aged 1 to 7) in which I have had extensive experience looking after. Looking after my partner's nieces and nephews generally consists of nappy changing, playing games with them, helping them with their education, making meals for them, taking them to the park and a lot more.

From my experience I feel like I can offer great childcare for any parent in need of it. I love looking after children and helping where I can.
