Katie, after-school childcare in Bolton

I hold a level 3 in Childcare and Education and have worked in a Private day nursery for 6 years now, taking the role of deputy manager for the past year. I am currently placed in the Toddler Room where a care for children aged 18 months - 3 years. Some of my duties include running the nursery in the absence of the manager, planning and providing a loving, stimulating and safe environment for children to thrive in and participating in care routines. Whilst working at this nursery I have built up excellent relationships with the children and their families and regularly babysit for some families on weekday evenings and weekends. This has also including picking up siblings from school, taking them home and caring for them until their parents arrived home from work. I am a caring, loving, fun individual who loves to look after children and have a positive input in their lives. I love my job! I hold a current DBS check and a paediatric certificate in first aid and safeguarding.
