Alice, after-school childcare in Bristol

I am a 24 year old fine artist moving from London to South Bristol and looking for part time employment as a nanny. I have previous experience working with children in both learning and more relaxed environments.
Last year I worked as a learning support assistant in a primary school in London. I worked 1:1 with a 5 year old boy who had learning difficulties and behavioural issues. I helped him to improve his memory and social behaviour through visual recall, reward charts and various games that related to him. Together we developed fun and creative ways for him to learn and develop.
In 2013 (whilst studying for my degree in fine art, drawing) I worked as a part- time nanny for two french boys aged 5 and 9. I helped them with homework (in particular English reading and writing), I supervised their bath time alongside cooking light meals and snacks. I did the school pick ups and early morning drop offs.
I always try to incorporate a degree of creativity into the children's daily routine in the form of learning, tasks or games.
I like to mix together physical activities with the mental. I play guitar and piano and encourage the children I work with to be musical. I also love swimming and would be willing to join them for swimming lessons if required. Any child I work with gets my undivided attention and support.
