Isabel, after-school childcare in Burpham GU1

Hi I am a 19 year old student at Durham University who has a passion for looking after children.

I am kind, caring and a definite people person who is self-motivated, organised, responsible and reliable.

Past experience includes looking after my little sister (who is 7 years younger than me) and also babysitting for around 7 different families over the past 3 years. The children have included age ranges from 4 to 15 and I feel like one of my largest strengths is that I am able to cater to all age ranges.

I am happy to cook and help the kids out with homework and I am a very active person and will easily do general activities.

In my past experience I have listened to children read for homework, helped out picking them up from sports and cooked them tea at home, played football and netball with them in the garden. With younger children I love to play with dolls and action figures, ipad games or board games with them- my imagination is that of a 5 year old if it needs to be!

As an extra, I have also helped out with family events such as big dinners and christenings as a waitress.

I can also drive and have had the responsibility to pick up children and drop them off from schools and holiday camps.
