Ellie, after-school childcare in Hawthorn hill

I am currently studying a level at sixth form while working a part-time job which I don't particularly enjoy and really miss working with children. After my a-levels I am going to study at Uni doing Primary education which will lead me to be a primary school teacher, I would like to go travelling while teaching children who don't get the best education.
I have worked with children relatively my whole life. I've helped at rainbows and brownies from the age of 13 until the middle of lockdown. During this time i took them on days out, weekends away, and helped them develop crafts. I was always there as an emotional support for the girls and if they were ever upset they wouldn't hesitate coming to me.
I have babysat for my sister since I was 12 making her dinner, helping with homework and bathing her. When I did my nursery work it was a week experience at one of my local nurseries, during this week I created bonds with the children, read to them and helped develop their English and maths skills.
I have been described as being nurturing and have a general love for children, I love watching them develop as individual and would love to be a part of their journey
