My name is Emily and I live in Newton Aycliffe but attend Carmel College in Darlington studying Childs play learning and development alongside Health and social and business studies. I am looking for some part-time work within the childcare spectrum to build my experience. I have babysat most weeks (sometimes multiple times) for the past year for a family with children ages 7 and 12 but have has over 4 years of experience caring for my cousins and nephews on my own throughout the ages of 0-3 and 3-7. I am kind caring, trustworthy, empathetic, responsible and understanding, I believe that a happy child is a healthy child but also agree with carrying out positive and negative reinforcements such as praise and discipline. I understand children and love to interact with them as much as possible through games and inclusion- I am known for my love of baking, crafts and role play activities with children of many ages. In my previous babysitting jobs and part time childcare, i have been known to hop on the local bus or by feet and walk for a picnic in a local park, additionally, i am always up for snuggling cosy on a sofa watching films and playing games. I strongly believe that children know what they want, and I strive to fulfil their needs alongside assisting new experiences and learning.
