My name is Beth and I am 19 years old. I have been working with children for over 4 years now and have had a range of different roles in my professional career. I currently work in a primary school and work 9-3pm every day so a role where I would be required to drop a child/children to school and pick them up after school would be perfect for me. I would also be available to provide childcare in the school holidays.

I am a very caring, friendly person who is reliable and trustworthy. I love to cook and have a passion for working with children.

I started working with children when I was 15 years old. I worked at the Firs Resource Centre where I cared for children with complex special needs on the weekends and in the school holidays, whilst being at secondary school. I then went on to study my Level 3 Diploma in Children's care, learning and development. Whilst completing this course I worked at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre where I ran children's parties and worked at Camp Adventure. Whilst doing my college course I was able to experience a range of placements including Green Umbrella Day Nursery where I was able to work in the baby room, toddler room and preschool. I also took on a nannying role for a family with a baby who was 10 weeks old and a 2 year old. I also went to Milton Park Primary School for 2 of my placements.

As soon as I left college I went to work at Milton Park Primary School as their Speech and Language Therapy LSA. My role was to work with children who had speech and language difficulties on a 1-1 basis. Whilst working at Milton Park I also went to work at Bournville Primary School at their after school club and holiday club. I then moved over to Bournville Primary School full time and became an LSA which is now my current position whilst I study for my degree in Children's Education and Child Psychology.

I am also currently a private carer for a child with complex special needs. I have been doing this role for over 3 years now, working closely with her family to provide them with respite.

I am now looking for a new role for before and after school hours and in the school holidays.

Beth has worked for me in my team for 2 years. She has supported children in my classroom so that they can access the learning at their level. Beth is able to adapt activities to suit many styles of learning. Beth is very reliable, kind and caring towards both children and adults and is a joy to be around. Beth listens to instructions and complete tasks extremely well. She is a team player but also works well on a 1:1 basis. She will be an asset to any team.

Beth came every weekday on her college placement to help me with my baby and also my 2 year old daughter. She helped with all aspects of childcare feeding, caring, bathing, dressing, play etc. Also household chores. Beth is 100% reliable and trustworthy. She is extremely capable and I would not worry for a second if I left my children in her care. The children love her and she is patient, kind and has a lovely way with children. I can not recommended her highly enough. Any family would be lucky to have her.
