Grace, after-school childcare in Ipswich

I currently work at a primary school in Ipswich as a T.A and one to one support assistant in a year one class, year two class and nursery.

I have just finished university after three years and therefore only have a part time job at the primary school and am free on a Monday and a Wednesday.

I work in a primary school, in year 1, 2 and nursery.

I have worked in many primary schools and nurseries during studying at university and college for the past 4/5 years.

I am also a Crew Leader at KitCrew Camps during the Easter, Summer and Half term holidays.

I have a good knowledge of safeguarding children, following policies and procedures, and understand that confidentiality is paramount. For example I have had to use the safeguarding policy when a child disclosed information to me.
I am often told I am a good listener and communicate effectively with confidence. I am a patient and empathetic person. I have the ability to build good relationships with children and adults. I am also a good role-model at all times to the children and other professionals in settings. I feel with my previous experience of working in Nurseries I am very capable to work in this role. I often use my own initiative and imagination when providing adult led activities for children and adapt any activity to suit the children’s needs.
