Paula-ann, after-school childcare in London EC4R

Hello my name is Paula, I am a 19 year old University student who is looking for a part-time job caring for children or being a babysitter. I have experience working with children through my voluntary work and also looking after the children in my family. I love making children smile, and communicating with them to learn their likes and dislikes. I believe that through play children can gain more knowledge, activities such as playing with different shapes, coloured paint, and play-dough help to keep young children engaged, which helps them to learn. Other activities such as role playing, singing rhymes, and physical activities that enhance their motor skills is also helpful to a child. I have practiced these activities in a nursery and have seen practitioners conducting these activities. I also believe that nothing is more important than meeting the needs of a child, whether it be their physical, intellectual, social or emotional needs; this helps to improve their development.
