Hi my name is melissa,

Firstly i would like to inform you that i have been DRS checked and also a qualified First Aid at Work. I have got a car so travel wouldnt be a big issue. I would like to see myself as a nursery nurse or a primary school teacher in my career.

I have gained invaluable experience in face to face focused roles, using my excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable me to produce services of extremely high standards, aiming to exceed high expectations at all times. I have a positive and enthusiastic approach to work. I work well as part of a team or independently and I am able to use my own initiative. I have a passion to learn, take pride in a job well done and I am eager to build upon my current skills and abilities. I have many transferable skills such as good communication and customer service as I deal with it on a daily basis. I believe my enthusiasm and drive can add great value to which role I undertake, and believe in giving my full attention to detail to ensure the job is done to the best of my ability. I value equal opportunities, health and safety in the work place as I understand how important they are. Finally I also think my positive outlook on things in life enables my attitude and aptitude in dealing with a range of different people.

I have gained experience working in a children’s environment by volunteering through the Sea Cadets as an adult instructor. During this time I was responsible for teaching the juniors aged 10 – 12 in all aspects of cadet training. This concentrated on their fitness and teambuilding.
I have also worked aboard as an activities leader teaching sports and outdoor education to children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Finally i have worked with children with special educational needs as i have 3 family members with autism and learning difficulties. I have taken them out, looked after them , cooked etc etc.

I am very hard working, reliable, friendly and love to teach or look after children. I have great skills which will benefit them in their future careers. My personal interest are just being able to have fun with the children if it means playing out or playing on a game console, i will make the time an effort to make your child happy.
