Emily, after-school childcare in Neath

I am currently a Rathbone Learner, and have just recently competed my Level 1 Childcare, I was based in a local primary school and have worked with children from the age of 3 - 10, which is to help me complete my level one and improve my experience and studies, furthermore I had work experience in hairdressing, where I learnt various and ebullient skills, I worked in group and solo work in confidence and received praise and positive feedback for my fellow workers. During my time in secondary school, I became a prefect, and did voluntary work for my school, to help raise money for charity, I am positive and motivational in group work, and optimistic whilst doing solo work, I am also an enthusiastic, outgoing and work-orientated, also to add, I am a trustworthy individual and an all around person and a quick learner.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Ladies & Gents Hairdressers (11th June, 2012 – 16th June, 2012)

My responsibilities there were to keep hygiene standards by cleaning, making beverages for clients and fellow employees, tending to client's hair and also putting gowns on clients, doing the laundry, I was given a positive report for my 'helpful' efforts and services whilst working there for my work experience

Brynhyfryd Primary School (13th September, 2013 – present)

I was making food for the children, I was doing decorative work for the school by placing the children’s work on the wall, and also achieved experience from working with general work based machines such as laminators and photocopiers, additionally I was happily given the opportunity of helping the lower-abilities with improving their work, by having my own sessions, called 'Triangles' and assisting them with reading, writing, spelling and communication, which 'benefited them greatly', as their teacher said, in addition to this I was playing educational games with the children, so that they could enjoy and also learn, lastly I had dinner duties and break time duties, supervising the pupils and resolving and problems they had on the yard.
