Danielle, after-school childcare - NR10 Cawston

I am a very friendly and bubbly girl, who is and has been told is
very mature for my age. From a very young age I have always had a strong love and passion for caring and looking after children. I like to think I am a open minded young woman who likes to have a laugh and likes to get to know new people. However when provided with responsibilities I take them very seriously and prioritise. I do not and have never smoked, nor do I drink. I am studying 2 days a week ( wednesdays & thursdays until 5 ) as I am training to get into Mental Health Nursing at univeristy.

From the age of 14 I have always been surrounded by younger children, and taken care of them to a responsible level for my age at the time. However since then I have cared for my cousins newborn baby during the first year of her life, who is now 2 years old. I also have babysat for a lovely young lady with a beautiful little girl who is now just over a year, and I also take care of my step sisters whilst my mum and stepdad is at work and I have been surrounded by children and a caring enviroment for over 10 years. During looking after these children the roles i have had, have included: feeding, winding, bathing, helping to learn ( speech & writing ) putting the children to bed, giving them their tea and so on. I believe I am a very mature and sensible woman and I look after these children as if they were my own.
