Toni, after-school childcare - NR30 Caister-on-sea

hi my name is toni I am 54 and have 2 teenage boys
I have worked in chidcare for 15 years
I recently changed to catering and currently work in a school kitchen
I have been in this job for a year but not sure it was the right move as I miss working with children
before this job I worked at a chidrens centre for 6 years, as holiday club /afterschool club supervisor and part time nursery assistant.
before that i worked in a nursery for 10 years as a nursery assistant
I have early years nvq level 2 qualification
food hygiene level 2
I have had first aid training but my certificate has not been renewed as I don, t need it where I am currently working
I have experience with special needs and currently work in a special needs school kitchen
my previous employer will provide a reference
I do not have transport so work needs to be easily available on local bus route from caister
i enjoy cooking so happy to cook for children meals
I also like gardening
my holiday club job involved organising activities and outings for groups of up to 24 children age range 4-13 yrs
and after school club involved school pick-ups and after school activities for 5-11 yrs
I am looking for regular hours at least 20 hours a week. I would be available for any hours for upcoming summer holidays
