Dear Parents,

I am a postgraduate law student hoping for a part-time job in a field that I thoroughly enjoy. I believe that my personality is very much suited to the job: I am astute, so you may place your trust in me to keep a watchful eye, I am enthusiastic and always bubbly, a trait that has always seen me getting along well with children, and I am very patient. Alongside these characteristics, I have traits that will make baby-sitting both convenient for you as well as enjoyable for the children. I worked in a pre-school for over a year and half, where I learnt plenty of games, stories, and general ways to keep the children entertained. I also learnt very quickly how to ensure their health and safety. Further, I have top-notch grades. Having studied maths, sciences and humanities all the way up to Sixth Form, so I can always help with homework, and maybe even tutor. I have been learning French all my life and I am half-Japanese, and I will be more than happy to incorporate these languages and cultures into my time with your children, should you wish. I am very passionate about my health and fitness. This means that I will gladly toss a ball around or whip up a healthy snack. Lastly, I adore spending time with children, as I find their free-spirits and wandering minds so refreshing. During my time at the pre-school, I particularly appreciated the nuanced, almost caricaturistic, personalities that each of the children had, and being able to watch the way they responded to certain ideas or introductions. I sincerely hope this presentation has reflected my suitability to work with you and that I have the opportunity to work with both you yourselves and your children, for a worry-free and enjoyable time.
