My name is Samuel, I am a Post-Graduate in English BA Honors from Falmouth University. I graduated in 2012, and returned to Plymouth.
Since returning to Plymouth, I have undertaken a 12 week course with Prince's Trust, which included being a responsible adult for a class of under-10 children with learning disabilities. I would help keep them together, hold the hands of children who were scared, and answer any questions they had.
I have also worked as a Learning Support Assistant for City College Plymouth, which entailed interacting with students of 16 years and above, answering questions for them, explaining tasks they didn't understand, scribing for them, and offering any support they required. Most of these students had some form of learning disability, such as dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Asperger's, language difficulties or anger problems.
I am a 25 year old adult who is driven and with a hard work ethos. I've had experience working early mornings, late shifts and night work, and I have a passion in learning. I also enjoy reading aloud to students and children, and love playing games with a element of imagination.
