Hello! My name is Shannon. I am originally from America but I have been in the UK for 2 years now and I am married to an Englishman. I currently work at a local nursery, part-time, and hold a level 1 food hygiene certificate. I do also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in America with 3 years experience in Neurology and disabled care. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and 2 kittens, movies, board games, and travelling.
I am looking for occasional babysitting responsibilities. I have been at my current nursery job for over 1 year. I work mainly with the 2-5 year old children but have experience with the 9 month-2 as well.
I love reading to the children and teaching them new things. I enjoy playing games with numbers and letters/words and teaching how to write names. My favourite part about childcare is teaching them something new and seeing them understand it on their own :)
