Chloe, after-school childcare in Southend-on-sea SS1

Hello, my name is Chloe. I am currently studying my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, and spend two days a week working in an early years nursery. I study an additional course, learning about Special Education Needs and Disabilities and I have been DBS cleared. Reference is available if needed.

During my working day in the nursery I will create and implement activities for all ages and support them through their learning experience. I am also responsible for meal and snack supervision to ensure that self care and hygiene is followed according to policy. I enjoy building relationships with the children and have gained knowledge of a range of skills to safeguard and look after children.

Along with this, I volunteer for a Special Event Day for Foster children where I participate in indoor and outdoor activities. I have also had an opportunity to work with children in a Primary school environment with after school clubs of Netball and Football. Finally I have worked with varied aged children in my dance school to develop and encourage dance and body conditioning.

Being from a large family of 6 children plus adopted and step siblings I am adaptable to different age groups. With working parents I have grown up with a helpful ‘can do’ attitude who is flexible and hard working. I enjoy making all activities fun and exciting and know the importance of following instruction and meeting the needs of children. I am warm and caring and always around for cuddles.
