Bethany, after-school childcare in Standish WN6

From a very young age I have always enjoyed playing and looking after young children and discoverd later on in life that working with children is the life long career I wish to do which is why I have continued to study higher levels of it at university. I have always enjoyed regular baby sitting for family, friends and working with troubled children to help them progress and learn. I am a active individual, very friendly and enjoy meeting new people. Children bring a smile to my face and make my job worth while and this I find extremely rewarding. I can cook basic meals for children and I am aware of the relevant nutritious that are vital in a child's development, introducing children to healthy food at a young age is always positive for a child's development. I think structure and routine are key in teaching children the difference between right and wrong however making it fun for the children can help them develop self esteem, confidence and independence. I think play is the main way in which children learn and develop which is why I highly encourage it. What I enjoy the most is the bond a make with the children and watching them grow up and develop in their own independent way.
