I am a hardworking person who is very adaptable and reliable. I work well on my own and as a
member of a team. I always give 100% in everything I do and I aim to work to high standards at all
times. I am keen to learn new skills and develop myself in my work role. I would like to work in the
public sector and to get a job in the police force or become a teacher which has been my dream ever
since I was a young boy. The main reason for this is because I have always wanted to give something
back to my community.
My strengths are that I can speak several languages, which include Gujarati and Urdu. I am learning
to read and write both Arabic and Urdu. My other strengths are that I am popular with others
because I am an easy person to approach and communicate with. In the evenings I go to mosque
and this is where I am studying a nine year Islamic course to become an Islamic teacher.
I have been involved in charity work for 3 years. My fundraising activities have included mountain
climbing in which I raised over £400 and for which I have received certificates for my achievement.
I have also been a prefect and I pride myself on being trustworthy and approachable. I have also
been a school council member supporting my fellow students.
My dreams are to have a family and be a success in whatever I choose to do. I am a confident
person and I can work both independently and in a team.
My attendance is excellent, I rarely miss a day. I was also a school librarian for 2 years. I have been
awarded certificates for both best dressed and smartest pupil. I also teach in a mosque so I have experience
