Pauline, au pair in Belfast east BT4

My name is Pauline & I am looking for occasional babysitting jobs. I am a mature 51 yr old, professional christian lady and I have one son so I guess the last 20 years or so, I have been bringing up my son . I now feel that this is the right time to explore my passion for working with children, I have a heart for children & at every given opportunity, I have worked with children on a voluntary basis & have over 20 years experience of this. I would describe myself as a "young at heart" 51 yr old as I keep very active & have more energy than most my age.

Being a mother myself there is no better experience. I have always worked with children, either in Church Youth groups or voluntary mother & baby groups & creche groups . I get immense joy being with children & believe that a child's early years & influences have a great bearing on their maturity & development.
I have been involved in various homework clubs & STRONGLY believe learning should be fun, especially for younger children. I enjoy seeing children learn new skills & believe learning through play is a helpful tool in a child's development.

My passion is for children & I consider it a privilege to work with children which I find extremely rewarding

I have been on mission trips to Holland & Romania to work with children. I find working abroad offers cultural experiences & challenging situations which I enjoy.

I have a clean driving licence & I am Access NI cleared. I also have a pediatric first aid qualification.
