My name is Katie and I am a 27 year old college graduate from the USA. I am currently in Mexico where I've been teaching yoga on retreat for the last 2 weeks. I have a passion for travel and have lived abroad in Italy while working as a nanny 5 years ago. I began babysitting while I was in high school and loved it. Ever since I have found myself in this care taking role as it brings me and the people around me much joy.

I am looking for in-home au pair care in which I am able to live with a host family. I would like to offer my genuine personality and seek to stay with a family in which I feel at home. I will care for the children as if they were my own. I love being outside and entertaining, educating, etc.

I have a very responsible, amiable, creative, and deeply caring personality. I love children and have found this line of work to be tremendously rewarding. I have worked as an after-school babysitter, live in nanny, au pair and have worked for professional businesses looking after and entertaining children while families are on holiday.

As a yoga teacher (for the past 5 years) I love to share my knowledge and experience in teaching (not just yoga, but all subjects) and feel it is important for children to engage mentally and be allowed to creatively express themselves as well. There is a balance to this and I feel that as children should be offered structured time, they should also be allowed unstructured time to foster the development of their creativity.

I have both domestic and international experience working as a babysitter, nanny and live-in au pair in Italy. I love children and am qualified in CPR and Basic Life Support (including infant). I have a college degree from the USA with a double major and a minor. In addition, I have experience working as an eco-friendly household cleaner and have managed a yoga studio in my hometown for the last year. I give the utmost respect to both the children and the family and asking this wage to help support myself in this transition to living abroad while paying off student loans, etc.

I will care for the children as if they are my own. If there is a live-in situation the price can be negotiable. I like to make care affordable to families and ask them to pay what they can honestly afford. I can work on the price but this is my desired salary. Thank you!
