Emma, au pair - CH42 Birkenhead

Hi my name is Emma, I am 20 years old and I am looking to change my career and go into childcare. I have had experience all through my life with babies and children but more so when my niece and nephews arrived when I was 12. I'm confident in looking after children and babies and I have had 8 years of a lot of child minding with my niece and nephews. I am open minded and up for helping out with anything, I am trustworthy and honest individual and I will always be reliable. When I was in my final two years of school I use to go to a primary school every Tuesday and complete activities with the children as part of a group I was in and also as part of my physical education qualification we would do leadership days where we would take a group of 4-5 primary school children into our hands and play games and activities with them. I am able to adapt to different ways of life and also build relationships up well with people. I currently work for Autism together(Wirral autistic society) and have worked here for 2 years. I currently work in the community and vocational side of the company, which is helping them in the community and working in a day centre where they will come and we will do various activities with them and progress there skills. I deal with the personal care side of the job and also deal with challenging behaviour. I throughly enjoy my job but think it's time for a change. I hold an nvq in health and social care that I completed as an apprentice in this company. I have a caring nature and would love to help the right family out.
