Alana, au pair in Chesterfield S49

Hi,

My name is Alana, I'm 18 years old and I have a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development.

I have experience working with children aged 0-2 years, 2-4 years and 5-8 years due to the work placements that I completed as part of my college course. This included various activities that I carried out with the children; such as arts & craft (sock puppets ect), singing nursery rhymes, reading story books and involving the children in different types of imaginative play so that their overall development was further enhanced.

I am a very friendly, enthusiastic person and would love the opportunity to provide care for children of any age.

My abilities include being able to prepare bottles to bottle feed babies, spoon feed babies and cook food for older children. I can also change nappies, bathe children and settle them for sleep. I'm able to complete any household chores that need doing when the children are asleep or whenever I can and will help the children tidy up after the activities that I carry out with them, so that they get to learn how to complete everyday tasks.

I'm really excited to start working with children as it's such a satisfying job and I thoroughly enjoyed my work placements where I was able to look after a variety of children in different types of early years education.
