Lovely to virtually meet you; my name is shana, I am 21 years old and I have 2 years of professional babysitting and over 10 years of unofficial child minding.
Okay so I am a bubbly, funny and patient individual who is very capable of meeting each different requirement of each child that I meet. I think the most important thing of child minding is that the child/children choose their babysitter. It is paramount that the child/children has a good report with me and that they feel comfortable and safe around me.
In my experience every child is different and their personal needs cam differ from what you can expect or have dealt with previously. I used to mind 2 little boys who were extremely shy and reserved at first; I made sure to get on their level and try and make them feel as welcomed as I could. The child/children's opinion of me matters greatly and I am a firm believer on them choosing as much as the parents choose who looks after them. Thank you for reading!
