Dee, au pair in Dowlais

Hello. I am a friendly, caring person who has a passion for caring for children. I am looking for full time work with children of any age.
In 2015, I qualified as a primary school teacher and got my first job as a nursery class teacher. Working in the nursery class was an absolute pleasure. I have such a passion for children aged 2-7 and feel I have a lot of experience with working with children in that age range. I have lots of experience of planning fun and engaging activities and I have a good understanding of the primary school curriculum so I will be able to assist your child in their learning but also provide them with fun and engaging activities to assist this.
I also have a lot of other experiences of working with children. When doing a work placement, I worked with children with various learning difficulties such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. I covered a class in a school for a month with children who had learning difficulties and I found this so rewarding. I learnt so much about different disabilities and how I can assist children who need that extra support.
I love getting creative and making things. I am a very hands on person and want to make your child's time with me as enjoyable as possible!
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family. I have a nephew who is 2 and a half years old and I love taking him swimming, to the cinema and to the park.
