I am a Canadian citizen and I currently hold a “Youth Mobility Scheme” (Tier 5) VISA which expires July 2016.
While I only have personal experience (ie. babysitting), I am a hard working and motivated individual. I've worked in a school setting over the last 5 years, and prior to that have plenty of experience babysitting a wide range of children (infant to teen).
I have always been able to get along with most children and enjoy doing activities with them as I am a big kid myself!
I enjoy doing crafts, playing board games and going outdoors! While I do no promote sitting infront of a TV all day, I also enjoy the occasional childrens show/movie. I like to engage with the children and help keep their minds active!
I like helping children with their homework when possible, and knowing that I am being a positive influance in their lives.
For long term care/au pair type work I also provide meal prep and light house cleaning duties including, but not limited to, washing dishes, doing laundry and mild tidying. A more detailed list of duties can be discussed should the need arise.
Please note that I do not have a vehicle or licence in the UK. I am willing/able to retrieve children from school if and when possible by foot.
