Katie, au pair - G52 Glasgow

I am a level 6 childcare practitioner with a 1st class honours degree in Early Chikdhood Studies and a wealth of experience looking after babies and children in nurseries. I am looking for a new challenge and believe that caring for children within their home is the perfect job for me.

I have a comprehensive knowledge of child development and I am confident in providing outstanding care and education to young children. I am patient, warm, and loving but can also be firm, but fair, when necessary. I can provide a range of stimulating and engaging experiences for children of all ages and my areas of strength are creative activities including: crafts, music, baking, sewing, drawing, and imaginative play. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors and believe that there are so many learning experiences to be found in nature. I am an avid reader myself and enjoy sharing books and enjoying fun story time activities with the children in my care.
