Jodie, au pair - GL16 Staunton

I am currently working full time as a tax assistant, along with coming to the end of my ATT Certificate in Tax Accounting studies. I have decided, while I have the chance, I need a break from office life and studying. So I am very interested in a full-time temporary nanny position (either live-in or out) ideally from August 2018 to December 2018 before heading to New Zealand where I will pursue my Nannying career. I am flexible to the hours and days required. I am a hard-working, motivated person with a dedicated approach to work.

I am an enthusiastic and hard-working individual who gets on well with a wide range of people. I am able to work using my own initiative, and in an organised routine manner. I have a working backgrounding of looking after children of a variety of ages, having babysat for several families over the past 4 years. I currently babysit for 4 families on an adhoc basis mainly in the evenings, but I also have experience day Nanning and overnight Nanning. I have a background of housekeeping through working in a local pub/B&B, as well as maintaining our family home.

I enjoy swimming and a range of sports, having grown up regularly competing in triathlons and any team sport I could. I have also achieved Grade 7 on the clarinet and won a bronze medal at Cheltenham Music Festival. Having grown up on and around farms, along with being luckily enough to have had ponies and then horses from a young age, I very much love the countryside and am an outdoors, adventurous person. I am a very keen member of Tewksbury Young Farmers Club. I regularly represent the club in a range of competitions, including Public Speaking of which I was chairwoman and my team went on to represent Gloucestershire Young Farmers at the South West Area competition. I have also represented Gloucestershire Young Farmers twice in the National Young Farmers cooking competition at the Three Counties Autumn Show.

I am willing to undertake a DBS check and/or paediatric first aid training; I do have a basic knowledge of first aid care from previous training.

I hold a UK driving licence.
