Rachel, au pair in Annfield plain DH9

I have recently just finished my 2 year Childcare Level 3 course at New College Durham. I am currently doing supply work at a Private daycare Nursery that works with children aged 0-4 years. In my work i have the opportunity to work along side the children extending their knowledge, using the EYFS guidelines. In the setting i provide activities and experiences using these guidelines for the children to meet their individual needs and interests. I am looking for a live-in nannying role.

I am self-motivated, hardworking and willing to take on new skills and challenges. I am also able to use my own initiative to either work as part of a team or individually. From experience I am very organised, punctual, reliable and have also developed good communication skills verbally. I have experience of communicating with both adults and children, as part of my course. I was offered my supply work at the Nursery through part of my placement during college. In my work setting i am able to use my initiative and know what needs doing, such as cleaning the environment, this is to ensure that children and others are safe.
