Louise, au pair in Canvey island SS8

I currently work in the baby room aged 0-2 years in little acorns situated within woodlands school Great Warley. I currently have 6 key children but I have had up to 9 key children at any one time. I produce learning journeys for all based on developmental matters in the 7 key areas. A normal day at work for me is making sure that all the children in my care are happy and settled at nursery and having the most possible fun! Although routine is a big part of the children’s life at such a young age, from formula to nappies to sleep times, I also make sure that the children are always learning through play, the messier the better. I have enjoyed working in the baby room for over the past year and I would love to continue working with children under the age of 2 as I find it very rewarding watching them grow and develop so quickly into toddlers. I have recently updated my paediatric first aid, food hygiene and child protection.
