Gemma, au pair in Coatbridge

My name is Gemma, I'm 18 years old and have always wanted to work with children. I am a very reliable and honest person as well as easy going but hands on when I need to be. I have been babysitting my younger cousin from almost birth to present and she is now 3 years old, I have loved watching her grow and develop and also teaching her things and watching her use her knowledge and what she has learned from me. I have also volunteered in a local primary school and also a local after school care. Whilst volunteering I really enjoyed interacting with the children and being able to teach them things and seeing them learn and develop from what I was teaching them was greatly rewarding. I enjoy drawing and being creative so this is one of the activities I am able to involve the children in and they always seem to love it! I have a good understanding of the school curriculum and the subjects I have studied at high school are being introduced to the children at a much younger age which I think is brilliant, therefore having highers in these subjects will allow me to help the children with any home work or school projects that they may have.
