Claudia, au pair in Lambeth

Hi there:) I'm Claudia, a 21-year-old female from Pittsworth, a small town in Queensland located around 2.5 hours west of Brisbane. Before moving down south after COVID-19 in 2020 to pursue a bachelor's degree in screen production at Swinburne in Hawthorn (2024), I spent a full 19 years living there with my elder brother and sister. I currently work at Woolworths in the grocery department part-time and duty manage at least once a week.

I spent two years coaching futsal, soccer, netball, and basketball after I graduated from high school in 2019. I got the chance to work with girls ranging in age from 10 to 17 in an all-girls school.

In addition to coaching, I looked after a six- and nine-year-old girl and boy regularly during COVID. I often helped them with their online coursework, we also watched TV (on rare occasions), played board games, went to the park, played soccer, and baked cookies.

Working with one family regularly as opposed to several groups of girls of different ages at the same time, I discovered that the best approach to make sure the kids have a good time is to modify how you speak to them in a way that is acceptable and to take care of them in the safest way possible.
