Hi I'm Jay, I'm 28, have a guide dog, work for no limits, and have experience of babies from new born since I was 9. Coming up 18 years, have dealt with disabled children, first aid and food hygiene qualified. I can’t/don’t drive, but can help with homework, any tips and problems you might need. No problems giving medication, food etc. I'm CRP/DBS checked and first aid.
What can I do.
Bottles. making, sterilizing , feeding, winding
Checking/changing Nappies/pull-ups.
Potty training/night time training/accidents. from nappies, potty to toilet.
Sleeping if you're struggling with them at night.
Playing and teaching while in play
Coloring and drawing pictures.
Homework help.
Bathing and bed, wake up, bath go out.
give medication.
take them to the park
clubs they're members of.
Help with their hobbies
Pretend play
Games (console. board)
Sports, introduce new ones, play with them, take them to clubs.
Get rid of dummies.
Play dough
play dates with friends
soft play area.
drop/pick up from nursery
taking them to places I.E hair cut, cinema shopping etc.
dealing with teething,
tantrums
boundaries
stopping hitting/biting
swimming
Done all these with family, friends kids, godchildren.
Did some work in a nursery temp but got a job in ict where I'm degree qualified in. Worked from 3 months to 5 yrs
