Harriet, au pair in Stirling

My name is Harriet and I am a fun, enthusiastic and creative individual.
I'm currently studying am MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling. I am particularly interested in children's health and my thesis is focusing on interventions to reduce pain perception in children.
My passion for working with children is displayed through my work experience where I worked at after school club. As a play worker I was able to create a fun and intecative environment while still ensuring the safety of the children. The job allowed me to display my creative skills as I was in charge of creating unique actives to entertain a wide range of children.
Alsongsie being a play worker I also babysat for three young boys. I was responsible for picking them up for from school, cooking their dinners, helping with their homework and getting them ready for bed.
My enthusiasm for working with children is also apparent through my volunteer experience where I have worked as a young persons befriender for over two years. This involves caring for a young girl with additional needs and taking her out to do activities that would normally be out of her reach. I have throughly enjoyed our time together and witnessing her develop in self-esteem and confidence.
