Hello! I am a 19 year old teaching assistant and dance teacher looking for a nannying/babysitting role in Swindon. I'm extremely flexible.
I am an enthusiastic, bubbly, outgoing young lady, with a passion for life, teaching and educating positively. I believe every child deserves equal opportunities despite their background, any special needs they may have or any discrimination they may face. I love to dance and teaching dance, especially inclusive and wheelchair dance, including tactile and sensory classes. My passion is to educate and I love to use positive reinforcement and praise as often as possible. I have experience with working with ASD, attachment disorder, ADHD, ADD and downs syndrome.
I teach ballet, tap, modern, cheerleading, jazz and specialize in musical theatre. I also have just opened my own dance school called inclu-dance after gaining a level 2 qualification in inclusive and wheelchair dance from the WDSA (UK). I teach sensory and tactile skills, music therapy and wheelchair and movement dance. My project has helped many children already in the short time that we have been open. I worked at Swindon Party Warehouse, as ‘Tinkerbell’ going to children’s parties delivering magic and fun!
I also have worked at Crowdys Hill School, Swindon, as a teaching and learning assistant and learning mentor for a 1:1 specific pupil working on mental health and promoting positive behavior and learning patterns. I am currently studying to complete a counselling and mental health course to become a dance counsellor/therapist.
I have worked with CAMHS, TAMHS and action for children, delivering mental health themed workshops on anxiety, self-esteem and self-motivation.
I am DBS checked, have my own insurances and my own car with ISO fix and my own car seats for age 3+
I love to plan events and day trips. I am used to completing risk assessments and carrying out safe practice.
