I'm a 20 year old student who's taken a year out from university to gain experience of teaching and childcare, because I'd like to become a teacher in the future. I'm ideally looking for Secondary school age, but I have a lot of experience with children in Primary and Nursery school. As the eldest in the extended family, I've often been left in charge of my sibling, cousins and cousins-cousins as well as their friends, so I can often be seen as a 'voice of reason' in a hectic household. I am a keen musician and can play guitar, keyboard, bass and the ukulele. I am also an avid reader of everything I can get my hands on; Dickens, Horowitz & Shakespeare are all personal favourites. As well as the arts, I'm very willing to get mucky. Cooking is my secret pleasure, adventuring from hearty pasta dishes to flavoursome lentil curries and I'm always willing to try anything at least once.
