Maria, au pair in Kirkham

My name is Maria, I'm 22 and I've just graduated my Psychology degree this summer. Currently, I do freelance copywriting to fill my time and earn some money, but I really want the opportunity to work a more practical job where I actually interact with people. I am a studious individual and achieved A's in my GCSE's and A levels; I pride myself on doing everything to the best of my abilities. I have work-experience looking after the elderly and I currently volunteer as a Teaching Assistant in a Year 2 class. I also look after my newborn baby twin nephews and I have looked after my baby cousins in the past.

I am passionate about playing the piano and I am considering teaching it in the future. I am about grade 7 ability at the moment and I hope to progress far with it now that I have finished university and I am in the position to earn money for lessons. I am patient, sensitive and loving. I have lots of time for people who need my help and I like knowing that my role serves and important purpose. It's important for me to find a job that makes me happy and has a positive influence on the world. I am instinctively nurturing, devoted and protective. I am gentle and easygoing so I think I will fit well into another family's activities. I regard life as a constant opportunity to improve myself, but I would love the opportunity to grow in a more nurturing role. Superficial things do not matter to me and I hope to build a good relationship with a nice family.
